On 26th September, the delegation from the Global Youth New Zealand Charitable Trust visited the Beijing Baitong Kexin Machinery Equipment located in the Beijing Yizhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone. A high-tech company focused on automotive vocational education.
The Deputy General Manager of Baitong Kexin Machinery Equipment, Meng Zhang guided the GYNZ delegation through an on-site tour of the production and R&D areas and introduced the corporate business. The Co-Founders of GYNZ Diana Chen and Tong Wu demonstrated the market demand for talent with occupational skills as well as the status and prospect of the vocational education in New Zealand. The representatives from both parties further discussed about the potential collaborative approaches between the educational institutions in New Zealand and China with regards to overseas study, research and joint education. The Chairman and Founder of GYNZ, Brendan Revell emphasised that “vocational education is important in helping the younger generation in realising their value and contributions to social and economic development. We believe that the joint efforts between educational institutions in both New Zealand and China would leverage the advantages of both countries and their markets to further enhance the vocational competence and international competitiveness of young professional talent”.
