On November 12, the Global Youth New Zealand Charitable Trust (GYNZ) hosted a special horse interaction day in Matamata, Waikato. This heartwarming event brought together local children and our rescued horses for a day of connection, learning, and care.
Children had the opportunity to meet, groom, and interact with the horses in a safe, nurturing environment, learning about animal welfare, empathy, and responsibility. The event also marked the introduction of two new rescued horses, Rossie and Tui, who were warmly welcomed into the GYNZ family. Through these interactions, we aim to create meaningful experiences that build confidence and compassion in young people, while also promoting the importance of animal rescue and rehabilitation.
