On 20th September, the Partnership and Development Executive of the Global Youth New Zealand Charitable Trust Fei Tong was invited to attend the 2024 New Zealand – China Products Expo at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland.

GYNZ Delegation visit to FlashX Sports Company, Beijing

The event showcased products and services from both China and New Zealand aiming to promote trade ties as well as economic, social and cultural co-operation between the two countries. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the New Zealand Trade Minister Todd McClay (virtually), the New Zealand Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage Paul Goldsmith, the Chinese Ambassador to New Zealand Wang Xiaolong and business representatives from New Zealand and China. A Māori cultural performance was performed to open the expo. During the event, Mr. Tong had a conversation with the Deputy Director of the Career Development Department, Sport Equipment Centre of the General Administration of Sport of China, Juan Wu, around the topic of youth sport development. co-operation and potential programmatic opportunities between New Zealand and China. A cordial invitation was raised by Ms. Wu to GYNZ to attend the Youth Sports Club Integrated Development Conference organised by China Youth Sports Federation (CYSF) in Beijing this October.
