In the course of the visit, the GYNZ had a friendly and inspiring meeting with the Victorian Men’s Head Coach, Chris Rogers, on collaborative opportunities on the cricket public promotion programme, covering the transnational activities among Australia, New Zealand and China. As the former Australian cricketer who player for the Australian national team, Rogers has coached Victoria for the past three seasons, having first been appointed to the role in 2020, and it now locked in until the end of the 2024-25 season.

The GYNZ subsequently visited the Victoria University and exchanged with the representative of the International Recruitment Office on the potential collaboration on the public cricket sport programme in the years of 2024 and 2025.
